I've been watching the mavericks play for years and Ive suddenly realized that when Dirk cuts his hair he seems to become weak, his shooting percentage will go down, he loses his aggressiveness and he becomes turnover prone. But when his hair is really long he seems to play his best. Chris Kaman on the other hand has had long hair for a really long time and hes played really sucky but since he cut his hair he's been a beats, he is averaging career highs in field goal percentage, blocks, rebounding and points. So do both of these players games reveolve around their hair? And btw dirk has the best hair in the NBA lol

Take a shower at night and then let your hair dry a little bit but while it is still wet brush your hair and braid it. The next morning, take it down and it should be wavy. Take it down, then take the first few sections of your hair and clip them on the top of your head towards the middle.

Another style is curling your hair and if you don't want it down in the summer time then just curl the ponytail.

Now here is for sports season. Take you hair and put it in a lower ponytail. Put it in a braid it stays in one spot on your back and you don't have to worry about unless you whip your head around really fast and hit someone with your hair. Hahaha.

Also you can put it in a ponytail if that is what you really want but just be expecting it to go into your face more.

Bun thing.

Your bun if it is just a normal bun it is a little boring. To make it less boring take your hair and then take it and put it up not perfect just kinda shoce it together and put sime rubber bands in it. Make i messy. For added umph put a cute ribbon in it and tie it in a bow.

if you have long bands, u could split them in the middle, braid them, and pull them back in the high ponytail, because that just adds a stylish twist

Try putting your hair up in a ponytail,, then have some one braid the pony tail for you. Or you can tie it in the ponytail, leave a strip of hair at the bottom then braid that and tie it around the ponytails rubber band or something and secure with a bobby pin.I like this one best. You can tie your hair in two pigtails and make them like a bun.

The same thing happened to me. I got brave and did a total boy cut and growing it out sucked! The back does unfortunatley grows faster and you WILL have to keep that trimmed until the front catches up. If you don't your hair will look as if you have a mullet. I think it's sounds like it would go great. are you leaning more towards a bob sort of a cut? even if it doesn't go the way you planned hair grows back. and depending on how old you are (teen to early adult) it will grow back very fast. Advice from a girl with dark brown naturally curly hair, here! I used to alllllways straighten my hair, because I thought my natural curls were a pain to work with. After getting bored of my long straight hair, I went to the salon to get side bangs. When the hair dresser was blow drying my hair, she comented on my beautiful "Hollywood wave/curl" I told her "Thanks ^^, but I usually keep it straight." ...and she thought it was better to just go with my natural hair!

So anyways, I went back to straightening it, but decided to let it be it's natural self on day before going to a birthday party. I went shopping before hand, and EVERYBODY that I met complimented me on how gorgeous my hair was!! I was like "You're serious?? I hate my natural hair lol" ...then at the party, MORE people started giving me compliments on it, until the point where I could barely take it XD! One person was like "Wow!! I really like your hair! But it's usually straight isn't it?" and I answered "Yup, but this is how my hair is naturally!" ..and his eyes went "O_O"...So ever since then, I've been keeping my hair at it's natural curly beauty. ...haha ok enough of that. Just trying to get the point aross of how beautiful and unique curly hair can be!!

So how did I get it that way?? Well because we both have natural curls, it's a peice of cake! All I do after taking a shower (in which I use shampoo and conditioner!!) I put some moose and anti frizz gel in my hair, and let it air dry. After it's almost completely dry, I just spray on hair spray! It's that easy!

So if I were you, don't try to work against your beautiful curls, and instead, embrace them! I'm sure you'll look fabulous ^^.

Btw..do you have side bangs or just regular? If they're side bangs, you can always straighten them "to add instend sex appeal" (%26lt;--I read it in a magazine lol), and either keep it down, or pull it back into a pony tail. Both are really cute. ^^

I'm a hairdresser and a nanny. From my experience you just need to make it as fun as possible. Bring a favorite toy or book. If she can sit on your lap that would be great. There are some salons that specialize in children and they oftentimes will have fun chairs or things for the kids to play with. A reward for being a good girl is also great. I take my little one to Jamba Juice after a haircut.

There's a Sesame Street episode that she saw that got her really excited. A character's hair gets too long and she can't eat because it's in her soup. Totally cute. : )

well im african american and im fourteen . ive been doing my own hair since i was like 5 thought because my mom wasnt home in the mornings . i had to learn how to take care of it myself . so i started getting it done at the shop every month and that works :] my hair grew alot . but if you want to do something thats affordable then you should not put ANY grease in you hair . if you really need it though then use LIV [it comes in a white jar]. I dont use any grease i just keep my hair straightened all the time . when you dont mess wiht your hair it grows way faster because its trained that way onc you start wrapping it at night and wearing it down . hope i helped :]

I am always trying new styles, but used to choose the wrong style just because I wanted to look like the girl in the picture..... now I always cover up the face. If I still like the hair, then I go for it. Works for me.

The style you like looks really versatile, bet you have loads of fun with it.....if you are thinking about colouring too, wait a couple of weeks after you get the cut as you will have a better idea of what you want to achieve. as for the pony tail, you can get some really good false ones in many different colours.

I told the stylist to just take a inch off and she kept messing up or something and ended up cutting it up to just below my shoulders!

Also she cut my bangs uneven I told her to cut them so I could part them to either side and so she cut them to one side that I never part it on.

it looks ok but now I don't know how to style it.

You can either pull them back or just adjust to your new look by doing something different with the rest of your hair. Your hair will grow back, dont worry.. Just dont go to that stylist again and when you go next time, tell the person exactly what you want and exactly what the last person did so she knows what you dont like!! Use your hands and show her, sometimes words dont help by themselves.

the person who did you hair was either very inexperienced or very dumb. go to a different salon and tell them the dilemma and they will be sure to fix the bangs. There isn't much to do with the lenght. Perhaps bring in a picture of exactly how you want it. f u really want your lenght back try extension. The person won't necessarily make your hair even shorter, but they will adjust it to your personal needs and style.

If you make it point up, or fluffy sorta, it seems as if your head is slightly taller, although thats just hair, but when somebody checks where ur actual head is, they'll know how short you really are very quickly....

In my opinion, it wont make much of a difference, but if you wanna look taller, wear the same (or similair) coloured top and bottom, that gives an illusion that ur taller...I think...
