Hairstyles in both men and women vary with current fashion trends and often used to determine social status. Hairdressing is the art of arranging the hair or otherwise modifying its natural state. Closely related to headgear, hairdressing has been important part of the dress of both men and women since antiquity and, like dress, serves a number of functions. The most important qualities for hair are that it be healthy, shining, and in a flattering, easy to manage style. U will find many things suitable to ur taste and preferences on the following links. How can I keep myself from cutting my hair? I am trying to grow it long but I give it regular trims

each time I trim it to keep it healthy, it looks shorter, so I don't seem to be getting anywhere. I also cut my layers too short so now I have to be patient with that too. I need some advice.

How can I keep myself from cutting my hair? I am trying to grow it long but I give it regular trims and?

Just take really good care of your hair, and only get trims if you absolutely need to. Then you'll be able to grow it long.

How can I keep myself from cutting my hair? I am trying to grow it long but I give it regular trims and?

i never gave my hair a trim since two years, and i had it cut two years ago. now it is up to my butt.

How can I keep myself from cutting my hair? I am trying to grow it long but I give it regular trims and?

Tie your hair in a ponytail or get extensions to pull your hair to grow.

Go to Longs or drugstore-- get hair supplements. Seaweed is good for hair.

My hair is up to back length due to tying a ponytail.

Everytime you trim-- trim the split ends not like 1 inch off.

Hope that helps ^^

How can I keep myself from cutting my hair? I am trying to grow it long but I give it regular trims and?

What u should do is don't trim your hair yourself, let someone else do it. But u do have to get the ends clipped so that it can grow. What I do is keep my hair braided so that the new growth can come in and then I get a perm that's how I get my hair to grow. Or u can keep it flat ironed but don't do it everyday becuz then it will really fall out but do it at least once a week and make sure you wash it at least once a month and make sure you oil your scalp. That will really help and NO GEL!!! It'll make your hair fall out.

How can I keep myself from cutting my hair? I am trying to grow it long but I give it regular trims and?

When I was growing my hair long I created an inspiration folder. In the folder I kept pictures of people who had the long hair I so desired. I watched the movie Little Women (the one with Wynona Rider) over and over. And I never cut my hair more than once every 4 months. The idea is to stay inspired to grow your hair out and then follow through by not chopping it off.

If you keep your hair in good condition - regular conditioning treatments, not setting the blow dryer or straightening iron on it - you should be able to get away with not cutting it as often.

Buy a satin pillowcase, too! It keeps hair from breaking, and helps a lot when you're trying to grow your hair long.

How can I keep myself from cutting my hair? I am trying to grow it long but I give it regular trims and?

just stop cutting it and let it grow long. look just go to a hair salon.

How can I keep myself from cutting my hair? I am trying to grow it long but I give it regular trims and?

TRIMMING YOUR HAIR MAKES IT GROW FASTER EVEN THOUGH IT MAY NOT SEEM TO IT DOES. BUT IF YOU WNAT TO STOP YOUR SELF FROM CUTTI NG IT FIND S REALLY NICE HAIR STYLE FOR LONG HAIR AND THAT WILL MAKE YOU NOT WANT TO CUT YOUR HAIR.

PS. I HAD LONG HAIR FOR A WHILE AND I JUST GOT IT CUT . SHROTER HAIR IS REALLY NICE AND EASIER TO MANAGE AND THERE ARE A LOT MORE STYLES I THINK THAT YOU CAN DO WITH SHORTER HAIR.

STILL ITS UP TO YOU. I LUV MY NEW SHORT HAIR

IF YOU'RE JUST GROWING IT LONG TO TRY SOMETHING NEW GO FOR MAYBE HIGHLIGHTS, OR A NEW CUT

Hope i helped :)

Don't trim/cut your hair for a while and I am sure it will get long. The key is to keep it healthy by using treatments and avoiding heat styling and dyes in the mean time so you won't end up with lots of split ends.

Long Layers For POOFY Hair?

i have hair that falls past my shoulders a little. it is in between curly and wavy. it is very poofy. and thick.

i want an easy to style cut, so i usually just air dry my hair. straightening takes too long for everyday.

some people say long layers get rid of poof.

some people say it makes it poofier.

i'm looking for an anwser.

help!? PLEAAASSSE?!

Long Layers For POOFY Hair?

Will I have curly hair too!!

I got long layers and it's bettern now!!

But u can't see the layers only when u striaghten ur hair!! It sucks dosn't it!!

Good luck!!

Long Layers For POOFY Hair?

My hair is quite 'poofy'

*sigh* i didn't read your question properly.

LONG layers, helped my hair. Made the ends slightly thinner. But.. the higher they are - the worse they look and make your hair.

Long Layers For POOFY Hair?

i think layers make it even more poofier. i would go with a trim if u like ur length now and maybe get sidebangs..or ask ur stylist what an "easy to do" style would be for u

Long Layers For POOFY Hair?

My hair is EXACTLY like yours, curly in some parts wavy in others, its long (a few inches past my shoulders), poofy, and thick. I tried to cut it into layers the other day and it poofs out like an afro. Whatever you do, don't get it layered. Instead go to a pro. (NOT Fantastic Sams crap) and get some hair layered out from under your hair. It makes your hair appear thinner. Good luck ^_^

The long at the front and short at the back cut! I love it but can't seem to explain it?

I love this cut i've seen in a mag full of short hair cuts and it's long at the front and shirt at the back (yes that way not a mullet where the long and short are opposite) and i'm having trouble finding others and looking for them - especially when i don't know what to call them

The long at the front and short at the back cut! I love it but can't seem to explain it?

i think it's called a "carre" as in French, i like it too

The long at the front and short at the back cut! I love it but can't seem to explain it?

I like that haircut too. My hair is shorter in the back. We call it the "mushroom"

The long at the front and short at the back cut! I love it but can't seem to explain it?

The name of the cut is an inverted bob.

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

i just got my hair cut a little longer than shoulder length and got long layers...but i still feel like its too thick looking

is getting it thinned bad?

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

No, having your hair thinned is not bad for your hair.My daughter has thick, naturally curly hair.It was very frizzy and she could not get a comb through it.I tried cream rinse but nothing worked.I took her to the hair dresser and she had her hair thinned out.It was alot easier to manage and it wasn't frizzy anymore. The woman who did her hair said that it should be done with scissors. Some hair dressers use a razor but a razor will only make it thicker.

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

yes.. itll kill your hair

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

No. My sons get their hair thinned by the barber all the time. It will get thick again so you have to keep doing it.

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

No way!

Getting it thinned is simply cutting more hair in the layers of hair underneath... For me, they use a special comb with a blade in it and lift up a top layer of hair and scratch away at the layers underneath.

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

don't do it! i thought my hair looked the same way and i thinned it, now it is sooo thin. plus it looks terrible.

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

No, both my daughter and I have very thick hair. Our stylist always thins our hair and it makes your hair lay right and makes it easier to style. You don't need a lot thinned out of it, just some well placed thinning works wonders.

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

i don't see how it would damage your hair, just have the layers thinned a little with a razor

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

if you use a raiser it might but it wont damage it if you use scissors

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

You can get your hair thinned out with thinning shears--which are scissors that look like they have teeth like a comb. It does not damage your hair anymore than getting a whole hair cut. I would recommend that you do that, rather than cut it all off. And, you could probably do this at home yourself if you buy the thinning shears.

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

no it won't damage your hair at all.

Is getting your hair thinned damaging?

NO, NOT AT ALL!!!!

i get my hair thinned all the time. but just make sure u dont get them soo thin that they end up getting shorter.

Hair cut that suits me?

i want to cut my hair in a more trendy edgy look my hair is long and layered in a v shape.. but its too much work to care of and its freaken hott... where can i find what hair style suits my face... and body... im chunky and round faced.. i was thinking of going short like to my shoulders but not sure what styles there are

Hair cut that suits me?

Just get layers, and always get a trim every 4 weeks. Don't go crazy with the layers, just get it at and angle and you will do fine!

hope this helps!

Do girls in the army have to cut their hair??

I have long hair and I wouldn't want to have to cut it short! Do they let you just put it up in a bun or something?

Do girls in the army have to cut their hair??

I believe the Army Regulations dictate hair length for women.

Females will ensure their hair is neatly groomed, that the length and bulk of the hair are not excessive, and that the hair does not present a ragged, unkempt, or extreme appearance. Likewise, trendy styles that result in shaved portions of the scalp (other than the neckline) or designs cut into the hair are prohibited. Females may wear braids and cornrows as long as the braided style is conservative, the braids and cornrows lie snugly on the head, and any hairholding devices comply with the standards below. Dreadlocks (unkempt, twisted, matted individual parts of hair) are prohibited in uniform or in civilian clothes on duty. Hair will not fall over the eyebrows or extend below the bottom edge of the collar at any time during normal activity or when standing in formation.

Long hair that falls naturally below the bottom edge of the collar, to include braids, will be neatly and inconspicuously fastened or pinned, so no free-hanging hair is visible. This includes styles worn with the physical fitness uniform/improved physical fitness uniform (PFU/IPFU).

Styles that are lopsided or distinctly unbalanced are prohibited. Ponytails, pigtails, or braids that are not secured to the head (allowing hair to hang freely), widely spaced individual hanging locks, and other extreme styles that protrude from the head are prohibited. Extensions, weaves, wigs, and hairpieces are authorized; however, these additions must have the same general appearance as the individual閳ユ獨 natural hair. Additionally, any wigs, extensions, hairpieces, or weaves must comply with the grooming policies set forth in this paragraph.

Females will ensure that hairstyles do not interfere with proper wear of military headgear and protective masks or equipment at any time. When headgear is worn, the hair will not extend below the bottom edge of the front of the headgear, nor will it extend below the bottom edge of the collar.

Hair-holding devices are authorized only for the purpose of securing the hair. Soldiers will not place hairholding devices in the hair for decorative purposes. All hair-holding devices must be plain and of a color as close to the soldier閳ユ獨 hair as is possible or clear. Authorized devices include, but are not limited to, small, plain scrunchies (elastic hair bands covered with material), barrettes, combs, pins, clips, rubber bands, and hair bands. Devices that are conspicuous, excessive, or decorative are prohibited. Some examples of prohibited devices include, but are not limited to, large, lacy scrunchies; beads, bows, or claw clips; clips, pins, or barrettes with butterflies, flowers, sparkles, gems, or scalloped edges; and bows made from hairpieces.

Do girls in the army have to cut their hair??

No. But there are regulations that dictate how they wear it.

The bun would be fine.

Do girls in the army have to cut their hair??

No you do not have to cut your hair, but you have to put it in a bun so that it is does not dip below your collar.

Do girls in the army have to cut their hair??

Your hair cannot dip below the bottom of your collor on your uniform, so if it is long, it will be in some sort of bun.

Do girls in the army have to cut their hair??

No Females do NOT have to cut their hair.

You will have to keep your hair pulled back in a bun, any rubber bands hair clips hair pins you use must be as close to your hair color as possible.

Here is the standards below

Good Luck!!!

Do girls in the army have to cut their hair??

they don't have to. but i think that you would have 2 wear it in a ponytail or a bun most of the time

Do girls in the army have to cut their hair??

Girls look beautiful with long hair, but in the profession they choose having a short haircut would help them to save their life In an armed encounter, so very to my grief I have to recommend not to use long hair in your benefit.
