How to grow my hair long %26amp; fast?

Get a skim (1/8th inch cut) every seven weeks to keep it looking healthy. Massage your scalp when you shampoo and use conditioner. Basically keep your hair as moisturized and healthy as possibly and avoid damaging it with color, heat, etc.

use olive oil and stop getting perms

well you can buy shampoos that make your hair grow faster and if your shower water is well water then your hair will grow faster too.

This is probably not a good idea at all in the winter, but don't use the hair dryer. Hair dryers can damage your hair and give you split ends.

Please, do not go around with sopping wet hair!

Although I hear something about special kind of hair dryers now. Look into that.

Invest in some really good conditioner. Don't buy junk. Use stuff like Tressamme' and Infusium 23. They are pricey but well worth it.

Make sure you put a little extra conditioner on the ends of your hair then rinse.

Eat a proper diet and excerise.

girl for that instant hair, you have to go with weaves or something. I know I was in your shoes a few months ago though and I started taking Biotin. Its a B vitamin, and it promotes healthy nails, hair and skin. Its sped my hair growth up a little bit!

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

I really want to cut my hair! But both my parents LOVE girls havin long hair!My mom says zat u cant do anythin wiz short hair but i think that wiz long hair u cant do anything cuz when u apen it goes everywhere when u tie it up the hair istoo much!My hair is 75 cm but i want it in the 40s.please answer my question!

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

Its your hair.. cut it. Tell them that its what you want and what you will feel comfortable in and long hair makes you feel ungly and its hurting your self-esteem, be intense but not too overboard. Let them sympathize, but all in all its your hair you should be allowed to cut it and deal with the concequences if/when it comes. If when you cut it you don't like it, it will grow back.

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

You can do loads with short hair, just cut it, not much they can do if it's already cut!!

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

If you are over 18 you have the right to cut your hair. Under 18, you probably need to just listen to them.. Bargain with them that you will grow it back, something like that

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

How old are you? It's your hair, do what you want. My daughter is 7 and she wanted her hair long. I wanted it shorter. I told it was her hair and her decision. SHE'S 7!

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

If you're old enough to pay for a haircut, you're old enough to pick out what the haircut is. So get the money, and set the appointment, and tell them if you don't like it, you won't complain.

Failing that, tell them you want to shave your head like Natalie Portman did for V for Vendetta. They'll be happy with 40 cm after that!!!! ;-)

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

Tell them that you'll study for like 5 days straight. Better grades + short pretty hair = happiness...

It worked with my parents :)

Hope that helps.

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

Its your hair and you should be allowed to wear it as you choose. Donate the cut hair to Locks of Love, which is for cancer survivors who have lost their hair. Their are many cute styles for short hair and so practical. Good luck !!

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

Tell your parents youd like to donate it to "locks of love" to make a wig for cancer patients. then mention bald little girls...and guilt them into it. ..but really do donate your hair!!..if you have enough

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

Tell them that you are now whatever age your are and feel that is old enough to make decisions regarding hair styles.

Especially if you are choosing a style that is normal or typical for girls your age.

If they disagree with you, then ask them at what age or circumstances will it be ok for you to make you own decisions.

Generally parents do not force that type of thing, but if they do you will simply have to wait.

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

Get infected with head lice - then you'll have no option but to cut your hair

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

take ur mom with u 2 the hairdressers 4 a consultation, discuss different styles that would suit u but try 2 compromise with ur mom it will show her ur being adult about the situation but most of all u respect her feelings as well.don't just go and get ur hair cut without l telling ur parents first,i know its ur hair but they still see u as their little girl no matter how old u r

How can i convince my parents lo let me cut my hair?

I went through this with my father. He forbade me to cut my hair shorter than my shoulder blades, but I won in the end (I was 12 at the time.) Here's how:

My mom took me to the salon, and we got pictures of hairstyles from them that were shoulder length or shorter, but still feminine and youthful enough for my age. Then I took them home to show my father. While he wasn't crazy about the idea, he did pick the one that he liked the best. So he still got a say in my hair for length and style, but I set the boundaries.

Today, you have it easier. There are several on line virtual make over sites that will allow you to look at hairstyles and try them on before you make any changes. Upload your picture to one or more of them, and pick the styles you like best. Then show the pictures to your parents. Ask them which one they like best. 40cm or so still gives you plenty of length to work with.

Maybe offer a compromise to start with, like taking 10cm off at a time. They might adjust better to a gradual cut than all at once. Try to find pictures of styles that fit both your face shape, age range, hair type, and hair length.

When you bring it up to them, or show them the pictures, explain why you want shorter hair. Include things like ease of care, less time spent to get ready, cooler in the warmer weather, etc... Then explain why you don't like having long hair, too long to dry, too much work, too much hair for many styles, too heavy to hold fancy updos, curls, and other things. Then have some pictures ready of shorter hair done in many different styles, like the updos and curls.

Make sure to include them in the process of choosing a style. They are more likely to see your side if you show that you respect their opinions and views. You should also remember that as long as you live with them, you have to abide by their rules, so don't go on your own to get a cut. Not only would you get in trouble, they will also be less likely to let you keep the style, or ever consider letting you get it done again. The more you involve them, the more you respect them, the more they will listen and consider your desire of short hair.

Metalhead with short hair?

I am metalhead and my hair was very long, but girls hated me with long hair and I was ugly ,so I was forced to cut it.Now I am with short hair and when I see a metalhead with long hair I feel very bad.Now I continue to wear heavy metal gear,do you think that its

redicolous?Should a metalhead cut his hair,or he should wear it no matter what people say?Do you think that its funny to see a shorthaired metalhead with metal gear?

Metalhead with short hair?

i think metalheads with short hair are much sexier

Metalhead with short hair?

oh my god, don't be so ridiculous. it's all about attitude ******. you could dress in a frilly bra and knickers and still be metal if that's who you really are.

Metalhead with short hair?

Metal isn't just in the hair - it's an attitude.

Metalhead with short hair?

i'm a metal head, azn, and small as hell. no one has a clue that i love death, black, or heavy metal. i like the style but i dont think i'll look great in it. i like wearing whats comfortable. if long hair makes u comfortable, let it out. besides, some metalheads with short do look hot. just stay true to metal and dont act like a poser. you kno the music. you dont need to look it.

What do I do with my hair nightmare?

I used to have incredibly long hair and I didn't have it cut until I was 10 when I got it cut to my waist, then shoulders. At this point, I was straightening it quite frequently but it remained in good condition and I eventually realised I was damaging it and stopped. Then I started dying it and to cut a long story short, recently for a modelling job I had my hair dyed by a very good company, but I absolutely hate it. It has random ginger streaks in. I now don't know what to do because I'm trying to grow my hair longer again, but it's very damaged. Should I get it dyed again to solve the colour problem or just leave it to grow? I am having it regularly cut, but I can never straighten it or blow dry it. I'm only 15! Help! I just want it natural again. It's naturally light brown but is currently a redish brown.

What do I do with my hair nightmare?

Oh no don't dye it or straighten it....just keep cutting it and use a good shampoo and conditioner and it will get better. If you dye it again your hair is going to get more damaged so if I were you I wouldn't take the chance, just wait a little longer...and don't worry I'm sure your hair will get better :)

What do I do with my hair nightmare?

use panteen or tressme

What do I do with my hair nightmare?

keep cutting it and dye it again.

What do I do with my hair nightmare?

John Frieda has a great product out that I use %26amp; love. It's called Luminous Color Glaze. You put it on your hair for 3+ mins in the shower, and you can use it everyday %26amp; it makes it so soft and smooth, and it boosts your color and dyes it a little darker %26amp; makes it shiny. Don't worry about the darkness or anything because it fades when you wash it, so if you stop using it it won't give you bad roots. It's seriously a great product.

What do I do with my hair nightmare?

If you want the color out..they now make a produst called Oops.. It will remove the color with out the harsh chemicals then find a color closiest to you natural color..It is save to do it in the same day. Also look into conditioning treatments.

What do I do with my hair nightmare?

Go to a colorist in your area with a picture of you back when your hair was natural. He/she can restore you to your original color. If you're coloring it at home you're just asking for problems. Be sure to invest in good products like Bedhead Moisture Maniac shampoo and conditioner to prevent overdrying. Drug store bought shampoos and conditioners like Herbal Essences and others have so much detergent in them that you could remove stains from clothing. Think about the damage that can do to your already fragile hair. After you have a color restore there should be no reason to color your hair anymore. But be sure to deep condition 1-2 times a week with a product like Bedhead's Dumb Blonde. Anything else I can address, let me know. And best of luck! :)

My brother has long straight hair and is thinking about getting it permed?

My mum and myself have told him that he should let us cut some layers into before roller setting roller his hair with small rollers to see if he would be able to live with a perm.

we have also told him that he may need to roller set his hair after getting a perm if he feels that his curls are to tight following the perm as my mum has permed hair and often roller sets it at home for the first few weeks after her hair has been permed.

he has aked me to post this question first to see how many people agree or disagree with our idea.

My brother has long straight hair and is thinking about getting it permed?

it is to his liking . if he wants a perm . go for it..

My brother has long straight hair and is thinking about getting it permed?

Tell him that perms on guys went out in the 80's. Any guy that can look at themselves in the mirror with curlers in their hair has problems.

My brother has long straight hair and is thinking about getting it permed?

NO!!! Not the perm!!! He'll look like a poodle and it can't be undone. Tell him to set damp hair in braids and blow them dry. When it's dry undo the braids and shake it out with the fingers and there'll be nice waves, not a Napoleon Dynamite disaster.

My brother has long straight hair and is thinking about getting it permed?

don't let your brother do it!!!

My brother has long straight hair and is thinking about getting it permed?

EWWWWWW!

It would be much better if he let you and your mom help you!

HELP HIM!

My brother has long straight hair and is thinking about getting it permed?

perm.....eh hello it's 2006.

My brother has long straight hair and is thinking about getting it permed?

Perms on guys are just super creepy and just flat out wrong.... then again... anyone under 35 getting a perm just isnt right in my book

My brother has long straight hair and is thinking about getting it permed?

yuck... curly hair on a man is only attractive if it's natural... permed hair is icky.

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men upon being inducted into the armed forces? Should women in the armed forces also be forced to keep their hair as short as the men after basic training? Personally, I believe that this is an excellent idea and should be instituted as soon as possible by our government. First of all, women on average spend more time on their hair, washing it and putting it up for service - something that is a much less of a problem with women who actually cut their hair prior to service. Second, women and men have their differences, yet hair is an unimportant dead structure that often gets in the way - plus women and men should be treated the same way in this respect, no nonesense, no double standards, no reverse discrimination. Third, long hair in the battlefield is dangerous if an enemy should get a hold of it. Four, long hair should not be acceptable in a professional eviron like the military.

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

No, women should not have the same standard in hair grooming as men. We are a professional military and a bunch of women being forced to sport male style hair cuts looks anything but professional.

Point by point:

1) I know guys in the military who spend 45 minutes in the morning working on their hair. I know girls in the military who spend two minutes throwing it up in a bun. The ammount of time a person spends on their hair isn't attached to length of hair or gender.

2) This is actually a good point, but I'll also say that the standards of normal appearance for men and women are different and, simply put, they need to be enforced equally to their own category.

3) Just to be clear, women aren't supposed to see much in the way of combat zones so this is really a moot point.

4) Again, making women dress up their hair (and presumably you'd extend this to jewelry and nails) and such to MALE standards doesn't actually uphold a professional image

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

I'll get back to you on that...I have to ask my friend who is a retired usn commander...i try, and stay off those topic. I'mm pretty sure he wrote some policy's re: women in combat I would not touch that question.....on the grounds it might incriminate me!!!!! lol

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

I agree

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

Clearly you have never been in the military. This is currently how the system works. I had to cut my hair up to my ears while in the service, and you do have to maintain the same military standards as your male counterparts.

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

i agree its a hazard and discrimination

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

All of these are probably good reasons.

However, the military haircut is the same to be uniform.

A stripping of identity, to make all the same, to make them a cog in the machine. This form of training has been successfully used for years.

If you want to make women a part of this success... well then your answer is definately yes.

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

Actually, women DO have to cut their hair! And keep it short for most jobs. This reason alone, believe it or not is the reason young girls won't join!

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

Will you have them shave their faces every morning too? Just curious. How about standing up to pee? Think of the space you'd save in latrines!

It never ceases to amaze me the hostility that still exists towards women in the military from misoginists who are apparently quite threatened by diversity. Oh well, the first round of dinosaurs died off eventually, I suppose you all will to.

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

Nope. I'm a veteran and I had hair below my shoulders. It was never a problem, never an issue. But I wasn't one of those females who colored or styled their hair, or got extensions and needed exessive pins to keep it up. I had it in a simple bun and could get ready to go to formation just as quick as my husband could. As far as it being dangerous if an enemy gets a hold of it....thats ridiculous. Regardless of if hair is long or short, American's are infidels to them and will take a head regardless. My big thing is that if the female can keep her hair style within regulations, then let it be. If it becomes and issue, such as interfering with headgear and such, then its on that person, to be a damn professional and get a more managable haircut. That goes for males as well. I've seen males with terrible haircuts....much more noticable and out of standards than some females.

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

no

Should women in the military be given induction cuts just like the men?

Women should not be allowed in the armed forces in the first place.

What a mess they make of the armed forces and of their own selves!

Clip in hair extensions. I have some questions!?

Ok, so I have the short in the back/long in the front hair cut. I want colored clip ins to put in the front to change my hair up some. I possibly want some to put in the back to look longer as well. I want to make them myself though.

Here are my questions:

1) Exactly how do you make your own hair clip ins? What steps do I need to follow?

2) What do I need to get from the store to make them?

3) Where can I get affordable hair extensions? Is Sally's Beauty Supply store okay? I heard their stuff LOOKS cheap and fake (as in shinny and screams * that girl has cheap *** clip-ins in her hair*) lol

Thank you soo much!!

Clip in hair extensions. I have some questions!?

hi;

You can buy the tracks (hair extensions at any beauty aid store) They will help you with the hair color and length you want. The only problem is that you might have to cut it to match the length you want. Then you have to buy the clips and sew them in, they should have them at the store too. They will show you everything. When your ready to start making them, part your hair from ear to ear, starting from just about the front of your ears to left then right, clip that front part of your hair up. Then take out the track or (wheft) Starting from the part at the ear with the end of the track--measure it all the way to the other side of the ear, this track will be for the top of your head that will cover the front sides and back of your head. Thats how you measure it. Cut it! If you want--you can cut another piece the same size and sew them together, (preferable using the same color thread of the material that is holding the hair together) with a regular needle to make the track fuller-- Then sew on the clips. One at each end and one in the middle of the track. (Be careful not to sew the clips in on the wrong side--always remember the teeth are supposed to be facing you when sewing them in) There you have it. To do more, just always leave some hair loose around the nape of the neck and the side of your head to hide the tracks when you comb it down. Make shorter width ones to put in the back of your head to fill in the gaps. Preferrable two tracks, one in the middle and one to cover the gap at the nape of the neck. All together, it will be three tracks. Top--Middle--and nape of the neck. To put them in, just part your hair side to side and around--always start from bottom to top--add the nape piece first, then the middle, then the top.

You can make them any size and length you want.

P.S. make sure it's 100% Human Hair, you can wash it, and put hot curlers in it. The hair shouldn't cost no more than $19.99-$25.00 and the clips come two in a pack for $1.00-$2.00. It's cheeper making them yourself--I looked on the internet and lawd-- I've seen all of them that cost from $120.00-$349.00--Wow. I've already made some myself--they look wonderful.

I hope this has been helpful to you.

Clip in hair extensions. I have some questions!?

or you could wait for your hair to grow.

or you can go to the salon and get real extensions.

if you buy them cheap/make them ur own, then they r gonna look cheap and scream "CHEAP"

Clip in hair extensions. I have some questions!?

sally's beauty supply has some.

some already come with a built in clip

so you won't have to sew the hair on the clip

yourself. i recommend you getting those instead.

the most popular hair extensions brands there

are Sassy and Vienna. Also make sure you buy the ones

that say REAL HUMAN HAIR. the reason some girls hair extensions look shiny is because they have synthetic extensions which are not made from real human hair. If you're worried about

doing them yourself and have no past experience

i suggest you going to hair salon although it will be really

pricey but it's better not to risk it and do them yourself because they might come out crappy.
