How do you curl your hair to make it look like Vanessa Hudgens' and Brenda Song?

Before Vanessa Hudgens cut her hair, it was really long and she would have her hair loosely curled, but it wasn't exactly like spiral curls. I was wondering what type of curlers or anything to make it look like that. I have long hair almost down to my lower back and I wanted to try my hair like hers.

The length of my hair is also pretty close to how Brenda Song's is and I wanted to know how to do her versatile hairstyles and how she curls her hair as well.

theres a coupla ways 2 do this:

1) get some big barreled curling tongs...

..heat them up..spray some styling mousse on about 2 inches of ur hair and wrap it round the tongs..start about halfway down your hair...the curls nearer ur head should be looser..

2) wash ur hair..then towel dry it slightly..then get a thermal barrel brush:

and get your hairdryer and again get about 2 inches of ur hair and starting from the top twirl the brush round in your hair pulling it taut..

I have hair like Vanessa Hudgens' used to be. But I got it curled. Bring a photo of her old look to you hairdresser, and tell her you want hair like that. My friend did that, and even though it took about 2 hours just for a hair cut, she looked exctly the same as the picture she brought!
