Take folic acid it helps your hair and nails grow like crazy. You can either buy folic acid pills or what i do even though I am not pregnant is take prenatal vitamins so i get the folic acid plus other nutrients too.

honestly.....perm burn your hair stright and once its done you pretty much have to keep it going or it will break off...which you apparantly dont want so the best way is to gradually do it lighter and lighter and keep it trimmed or...cut it all of and start over
