Do you have to keep maltese coats long?

Only when you want it to look like a Maltese.

Do you have to keep maltese coats long?

No you don't have to keep them in a long coat. They can be kept in a short coat.

The problem with white dogs is that they get all kinds of stains and they get dirty easily.

Any long coated dog is a lot of grooming. But a white dog that is long coated is TONS of grooming!

It is going to be a huge commitment on your part with the grooming.

Do you have to keep maltese coats long?

Plain and simple: Nope. The personality of the breed is wonderful! short or long coated. Just take it into the groomers or learn to do it yourself.

Do you have to keep maltese coats long?

My friend always keeps her maltese short. Usually about an inch to inch and i1/2 long

Do you have to keep maltese coats long?

i have 3 maltese...i keep them short even in the winter...just do the sweaters...it's better for all of us cause the long hair care brings us all stress...and by the way...choosing a malty is a very good choice...precious personalities...ummm love em!...just remember the maltese have no under coat, so they do get chilled in cooler weather without the longer hair or a sweater
