My boyfriend wants me to cut my hair short but ive always had long hair, i think it would look really bad short...what do you think? Also i just dyed my hair black...

Your hair looks great - it matches your facial structure. Don't cut it short, but if he wants you to change it a bit maybe you could go for medium - short layers.

It's a nice colour, but it doesn't have a lot of body because it's so long. It'd look nice if you took about 4 inches off and more layers.

No, keep it long, it looks cute. You would probably look better w/ black hair though. If you want to cut it, then cut it shoulder length with a side swept bang, and long layers.

wow most of the time guys like long hair.... if you've never had short, a change might be nice.... but it does take a long time to grow back... think long and hard over it... i think your hair is gorgeous now!

I think that the only person you should be trying to make happy is you. If you don't want to cut it then don't. That said I have to tell you, I think you would look great with your hair cut like this:

but remember....if you cut it

(1) it'll match your face shape

(2) it's in style now

(3) you can donate your hair

if you keep it long it's still good and won't need to wait so long for it to grow back

to know if you would like short, I would go to a wig store and see if it suits you

I mean you can go online and see if short looks good, but a wig makes you see what it would really look like

but you should be the one that decides, not your friends (but you probably already know that)

both ways, you're safe (in my opinion)
