Grow it. Not like "ponytail" long, but you know, "messy, teased look" long. Oh, btw, I'm not in middle school and my hair used to be like this and is getting there once more. I think it looks great, partially because I dislike short hair. Oh well...

PS Ignore these people who say you'll look gay, outdated, etc. You won't. My hair was/is the envy of many of my friends. Plus, if you really despise it long, just cut it. You can always make it shorter on demand, but never longer. Remember that!

That's up to you, but I can say from experience that it's a fair amount of work to keep it clean %26amp; tangle-free.

But I can also say from experience that women know how much work it is %26amp; some of them really appreciate it on a guy.

I'm a 51 yr old guy, and I haven't had my hair cut in 16.5 yrs. It's just past my waist (the tip ends, not the body.) I also keep it tied back w/ 7 braided elastics, to reduce tangling, as most of the last nine years, I'v worked light industrial, around moving parts. Nor my beard cut either, but someone braided it, and, not knowing, I left the braid in too long %26amp; it turned into a dread. I let it go till it was a couple inches past my knee (seriously) %26amp; cut it off 4.5 yrs ago. Myself, I'll never do a dread again; I couldn't really keep it clean. (But it gave me instant respect from the brothers, oddly enough.)

Now if only it weren't greying.
