Rock/Emo Hair help?

ok so im NOT EMO PLEASE NOTE lol.I have nothing perosonal against emo people.Im more of a rocker but i like they hairstyle.The problem is...I have really thick hair and Medium curls.Is their anything that i can do to make it so my hairs not so thick.

Now i mean its thick when it gets long and i want a emo hair cut that is long its just i don't know if any would work.Please help me out if you have any questions ill be checking this post to see so i can reply to you.

So any hair tips from you guys would help.

(Also when you typ an answer will you tell me how i can get it that way to like what i have to ask for from the barber...or saloon person.Thanks)

uhm.

invest in a straightener and when you go to the barber tell them to keep it a little shorter in the back and longer in the front...

and then you sweep it to the side.

and straighten it.

(you can actually get your hair thinned too... just ask for him/her to thin it and he'll take random chunks out... it isnt as bad as it sounds... it helps it be more managable.)

Get a layered hair cut, and invest in a really good straightening iron. It's okay, guys use them too. If your hair is thick, have it thinned out by the stylist. Find a product that gets rid of frizz as well. The CHI iron, and CHI product line really helps with this!

You need a good hair straightener. If i were you I would straighthen my hair and cut it the way I want. Get your hair thinned(ask the stylist for that) Use mousse and hair straightening products

Okay SOOO. im not a guy and im not professional... idk about the thickness stuff but if you have a Sally Beauty Supply Store They Have A Perminant Straightner Thing Called: "Thermal Ionic Hair Straightening System"

What It Does Is "permanantly" Straightens Your Hair. It lasts for like... idk 6 months. its around 40$ but it will take the curls out. they have 2 diff. formulas. One for dyed hair its less intense and lessens the damage, another one is if you havent dyed your hair. Same product just the other is more intense.

maybe get your hair thinned out, just go the your barber shop and tell them to thin it out.

the thing they would use look like scissors, but one side is like a scissors and the other side looks like a comb.

so they cut some of your hair.

then straighten it.
