"The shag" is back! yeah! to make it look classy, use BIG curling iron on the various lengths. The hair will sort of "fly". Or get a very light perm, none of that tight curly-q stuff.

You could try having the hairdresser, cutting your hair that's just around the front around your face, in layers, keeping the rest of your hair long. This would enhance more facial features, I think.

I think layers in long hair look good - add dimintion and give you something to work with and style. But it won't take away the length. Also - I had a good stylist that did a razor cut around the front towards the face. It leaves length - but gives it a lighter feathered less choppy look. Good luck!
