i have her hair cut every 3-4 months, she only loses some hair when it gets too long. her hair is not that long now. what should i do?

Cats and dogs normally shed (not moult) according to the season and climate. If the cat is exhibiting abnormal loss of hair take it to the vet. What's the reason for such frequent hair cuts ? Cats have the coats they have for a reason, albeit, most are man made, in other words people have made some cats what they are today. So we need to adjust to them and what they need, not the other way around.

I would also suggest checking the cats diet. It might be lacking some of the natural vitamins and minerals not found in commercially packaged foods. Beware of anything you use around your cat also. Cleaning supplies, fabric softeners etc, These things can also cause hair loss.

Why do you have your cats fur cut?

Is the hair coming out in patches, or is she just shedding?

If it is in patches it could be fleas,ringworm(a fungus,not worm), or stress if she is pulling it out....

Can't give you much advice without knowing details.I recommend a vet if it is a lot of hair coming out...heck...take her to the vet anyway if it is anything more than shedding.

it's normal cat shed when season changes. she shed probably her skin is too dry, you can buy some fatty acid from the pet store and add to her food. i tried it but my cats wouldn't eat the food after....so i gave up and vacumn every week! LOL

Could be her diet, if they there is too much salt in her diet or she eats the same food ever day she will lose her hair

there can also be worms in her tummy which causes hair loss try deworming her.

please check the food u give to her as home made food does not have all the oil which is required for the growth of the cat.
