absolutely nothing!! the best thing now is just to leave your hair to grow, whatever you do, they have to cut some more, so if you are serious and want it long then just leave it for about 3 months, and then go for a trim.

when you want to grow your hair the best thing is just to grow it, and condition it.do not cut it,.

i would invest in some really nice shampoo and conditioner for the money of one haircut.

You could try extensions, but the best thing for you is to get a new hairdresser.... one that listens to what you tell her.

i would go to someone else...call and complain, talk to the owner or manager or someone above her...and go somewhere else...find a friend who reccomends someone...but from now on just ask for trims tell the person your trying to grow it out and make sure they show you how much they plan on taking off and watch them while they do it...i'm sorry that happened to you...i've had that happen to some clients i've gotten and its so hard for them to trust a stylist again...but with those people i try to take as little as possible off so they don't freak out...if you lived in Michigan i would say come to me next time you need a haircut and i would be happy to help!!

First of all do not just let it grow. You should always keep getting it trimed. Just let your hair dresser know!

~~ If it was just the layers that were too short, have him/her graze the layers when they get dry and start to split and trim length 1/2 inch to 1 inch every 6-8 weeks.

~~If it is all over too short you need to keep the neck line short as the rest grows down to meet it or you will get a mullet. GOD FORBID! You should still graze trim layers. You will need to trim at least neck line every 3-4 weeks.
